In the journey of ever continuous giving of the venerable Imam, Sheik Muhammad Mitwaly Al-Sha‘râwy, are shining lights and inspirations that illumine the way of the seekers, guide the astray and teach humanity the religious matters that have been kept hidden from it. Done for the Love of Allah, the Prophet Muhammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and Islam by Abdullah translation group and as homage paid to our venerable Imam, Sheik Muhammad Mitwaly Ash- Sha‘râwy.
Hajj…that sublime fifth Pillar of Islam, rich with farreaching shoreless meanings, wisdoms, morals, philosophies and symbols; a rehearsal to the Day of Crowding, a great scene of equality where all privileges melt into thin air. In Hajj there is a reenactment of Prophet’s Ibrâhîm (peace and blessings be upon him) firm stand against the black whispers of Satan. He stoned him seven times, a physical matter that agrees with our corporality, for us to learn that we should always stone the devil within ourselves in a nonphysical sense, barring all his gateways to us, by our defiance to yield to his satanic temptations until he recedes and leaves us dispossessed of all power over us. All hajjis came answering the call of The Great Summoner – His Majesty, Allah, all praise and glory be to Him. All are standing before Allah just with a seamless piece of cloth on body like the shroud you shall come out of this world wrapped in. Tawâf, Sa‘y, Standing at ‘Arafat, offering sacrifice, Zamzam…. and other Hajj rites, all have a wisdom and a moral, all teach a lesson that we should live by. Hajj with it majesty and the magnificence of worship in it is the hope of every Muslim to establish the Fifth Pillar of his Islam; hope of becoming a hajji, a traveler whose destination is the Sacred House of Allah and visiting His Messenger Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

Why should an intellectual embrace Islam? We shall try to prove herein that the truth and perfect of the Qur’an, revealed between the years 611 and 632 A.C could not have possible been the work of Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him), the Prophet of Islam (Peace be Upon Him), nor of any human being in history. It could only have been an outside revelation of Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) from a most knowledgeable super-natural source. The role of the Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) did not exceed that of an honest Messenger, as well as a human model for all mankind. Our approach will be both scientific and historical. We shall repeatedly underline certain verses of the Qur’an that have stated or pointed to some modern scientific facts and concepts, in unequivocally precise terms. Such facts and concepts were beyond the reach of human knowledge at the time of revelation and for centuries thereafter. This establishes beyond doubt that the source of Qur’an is: Superior to mankind, Absolutely Knowledgeable, and Most Truthful.
“WHO MOVED THE STONE?” or “who ROLLED away the stone?” (Mark 16:3) is a question which has worried theologians for the past two thousand years. Mr Frank Morison, a prominent Bible scholar, tried to nail down this ghost(s) in a book bearing the same title as this tract. Between 1930 and 1975 his book has gone through ELEVEN editions. Through all his 192 pages of conjectures he failed to answer, “WHO MOVED THE STONE?” (Faber and Faber, London).
On page 89 of his book, he writes, “We are left, therefore, with the problem of the vacant tomb unsolved” and proceeds to advance SIX hypotheses, very nearly knocking the proverbial nail on the head with his FIRST supposition, i.e. “THAT JOSEPH OF ARIMATHEA SECRETLY REMOVED THE BODY TO A MORE SUITABLE RESTING PLACE”. After confessing that this Joseph “might himself have removed it for private reasons to another place, is one which seems to carry considerable weight” (italics mine), he hurriedly disposes this hypothesis on the flimsiest ground. As you read on, dear reader, I trust that you as well as Mr Morison will have a satisfactory answer to this problem. Let us begin at the beginning of this problem.
Over a thousand million Christians today blindly accept that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ. They produce “a thousand and one” prophecies from the Jewish Bible (the Old Testament) to prove their claim that Jesus was the Messiah promised to the Jews. Let us hold the thousand” prophecies in abeyance for a moment and examine the only unequivocal claim made by Jesus in the Gospels and examine whether he fulfilled his promise to the Jews.
We must admit that the word CHRIST is not a name. It is a title. It is a translation of the Hebrew word Messiah, meaning “anointed.” The Greek word for “anointed” is Christos from which we get the word Christ.
Priests and kings were “anointed” when being consecrated to their office. The Holy Bible confers this title even on a heathen king CYRUS (Isaiah 45:1). We are reminded in the Gospel of St.Luke that “WHEN EIGHT DAYS WERE ACCOMPLISHED FOR THE CIRCUMCISING OF THE CHILD, HIS NAME WAS CALLED JESUS, WHICH WAS SO NAMED OF THE ANGEL BEFORE HE WAS CONCEIVED IN THE WOMB.” (Luke 2:21). The name that was given to Mary for her yet unborn son was JESUS and NOT Christ. It was only after his baptism at the hands of John the Baptist that he, Jesus, claimed to be the Christ. The Jews were not the ones to accept his claim on its face value. They wanted proof!
Excerpt from the book:
I posed the question: “What does the Bible say about Muhammed?” Without hesitation he answered, “Nothing!” I asked: “Why nothing? According to your interpretation the Bible have so many things to say about the rise of Soviet Russia and about the Last Days and even about the Pope of the Roman Ca Catholics?” He said, “Yes, but there was nothing about Muhummed!” I asked again, “Why nothing? Surely this man Muhummed who had been responsible for the bringing into being a world-wide community of millions of Believers who, on his authority, believe in: (1) the miraculous birth of Jesus, (2) that Jesus is the Messiah,(note 6) (3) that he gave life to the dead by God’s permission, and that he healed those born blind and the lepers by God’s permission.
The inimitable Ahmed Deedat here poses the question, “What is the name of God?” Using christian, jewish and Islamic sources, he strives to answer the question.
The book contains detailed information and descriptions that show how the Bible was changed and tampered with over the past two millennia. The account and the discussions presented are based on, and collected from, the writings of Christian authors, the Church and the Bible.
Published by Dar Al Fatah in 1996 Description An analytic look at Jesus’ person and the content of his message. Examines Christian sources historically and textually and compares them with the Islamic point of view as found in the Quran and Sunnah.
